Testimonials

"Dear Lucy and Suzie - I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show. It was so imaginative, the costumes were fantastic and all the dancers did brilliantly. Well done both of you and the rest of the team - I hope you are feeling very proud (exhausted but proud!!)"
Best wishes

"Hi there Lucy, Just wanted to pass on my appreciation and enjoyment of the performances last week.
I enjoyed it SO much. So very mixed - with ages, emotion, moods, dances. Of course you have a wide selection of students and abilities to work with but it was always charming, fascinating, challenging... and beautiful.
I cannot imagine how long it all took to devise - and on top of that you had all the production side and costumes to work on. Please pass on my appreciation to your Mum, she did a wonderful job - as did you - and all the other teachers. Students too of course!"

"Dear Lucy
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed watching "A Taste of Tudor", almost as much as Immy enjoyed performing in it! The costumes and your choice of venue were just wonderful but even more so was the quality of the dancing and the professionalism of everybody involved. It was an amazing experience for all the children and one I am sure they will remember for the rest of there lives! Congratulation and well done to you all."

"Hi Suzanna,
I just thought I should drop you a line to say how outstanding I thought the show was last night(Friday). The grace and athleticism of the senior dancers and the charm and vigour of the junior ones was there for all to see. You and the team must have worked incredibly hard on the choreography and in all the rehearsals the show must have taken to produce. Also the costumes were outstanding and, assisted by the very effective lighting plot, set the tone for each individual scene. I have to say that I think the building played a part in giving a very regal and court-like effect to the overall production.

I was also amazed to see how many dancers were involved, which I hadn’t appreciated until the last scene of the first half. The fact that they all turned up on stage at the right time is a real credit to you and your team !!
I am immensely proud that the Center, which is after all a community arts centre, was able to play host to such an impressive production created by local people and featuring children and young adults from local families. This is what we have all worked for over the years.

I really hope we will be able to welcome you back in future years and if there is any other, perhaps smaller project we can help to feature in the meantime, then don’t hesitate to let us know.

Very many congratulations to everyone involved!!"
